Celebrity As International Concept
I love my country the U.S. of A. as much as the next girl, and, I’ll be the first to tell you I can’t think of anywhere else I want to live… particularly as a post-post modern feminist, you know, this is a good place to be.. I mean, fuck, take a look at Nancy Pelosi, ultra-liberal extraordinaire who is now our House Speaker, and, see, I am tempted to exclaim, “You go girl!” …but, I think that’s such a pukey, lame exclamation that I should probably refrain …
Anyway, what am I getting at? We all think America is a fine place to be etc., but, when it comes to having an international perspective… well, your average Americano tends to be a bit myopic. Now, if you like, you can tell me, who da fuck you be to create a standard for “average.” And, that’s a fair criticism, but, wrong nonetheless… we need some sort of personal (yes, opinionated) standards in order to function and be human…
So, damn, just what the hell am I getting at already! I’m just the sort of crazy bitch that goes on and on… see, friends, I can laugh at myself, and, the emailers who portrayed me as overly serious were quite wrong. Take that fuckers!
Okay, so, let’s get to the point. Here in America when we think of celebrity, we think of Britney Spears, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Michael Jackson, Rosey O’puke-ul, Will Smith, Heidie Klum, John Travolta, Tom Cruise, Oprah Winfrey… okay, you get the idea… what’s easy for me to forget is that on the other side of the world, they too have their own celebrity trip that’s raging along… what reminds me of this? Well, it’s this wacked-out, Asian celebrity hunk oh hunk oh burning man meat video I found on Youtube… take a peek at this nutty shit:
Okay, now be honest my fellow Americans… you have no fucking idea who any of those Asian celebrity fuckers are!!! I sure as hell don’t. But, I betcha they’re getting a bunch of Asian bitches panties slopped-up… oh, yes, let’s not forget this celebrity madness is international.
