Now, granted, the apology was unusual. Richards seemed strange and his voice sounded affected. But, he did apologize, and, he has humiliated himself already in the eyes of the world, and, his name is forever tarnished. And, Richards apologized to Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. And, he killed Cosmo Kramer! And, much to Jerry Seinfeld’s unhappiness, his Seinfeld brand is forever sullied. And, there’s a lesson in there that we should all learn from: years and years of hard work and dedication can get all fucked-up by a bad evening. It’s the way the universe works. And, it’s powerful.
