Jerry Klein: My Hero
First, I love it that Katie made the category called “Should Be Celebrity,” because, that’s something that I think about daily. I think about all the boring and worthless trash who are totally famous, and, I think to myself: “Why?” Then I think about somebody totally cool and doing great things who doesn’t have much fame… and, I think, “They should be famous!”
Well, Jerry Klein is such a person. I would really like to kiss this guy at the moment! He’s a radio host and, on one of his recent shows, he proposed that all Muslims in America should receive either a crescent tattoo or be forced to wear an armband.
Immediately, his phone started ringing like a possessed alarm clock! Some callers disagreed, and, many did him one better: suggesting forehead tattoos, special drivers licences, interment camps, etc.
At the end of the show, Mr. Klein informed his audience that he was shocked and dismayed that anybody took him seriously. He continued to say that he considered such agreement to be beyond disgusting. He also made an analogy between their consent and the views which allowed the Holocaust to happen in Germany.
Jerry Klein, you are one of the good guys!
