Celebrity Vagina Slips
Yes, just as we predicted after Britney’s recent vagina exposures, the level of searches for celebrity vagina slips has shot to the moon. I was looking at the stats, and, I can already see the trend. Granted, it wasn’t necessary to be Nostradamus to make this prediction.
And, I’m not such a prude that I find anything truly disturbing about adult men being a little curious or libidinous. Granted, the thought upsets my stomach a bit, but, guys will be guys.
What bothers me is how our children, and, in particular, how our daughters will be influenced by this trend to skip the panties and spread legs in public. Now, some argue that parents are capable of talking to their children and instilling values; and, while I agree with this premise, we can’t underestimate the extraordinary power and influence of our pop culture. In addition, Ms. Goodstein at The Huffington Post makes a valid point that even good, caring parents can have considerable difficulty in talking to their teen children.
So, what do we do now? I mean… Britney has really kicked-off some lousy stuff with her antics. You know, humor can help in life, and, for a satirical take on this trend, have a look over at The Spoof.
While researching around the web, I saw there were several online sites which were taking bets on which celebrity will next expose her vagina. I don’t want to give these sites any publicity, but, I’m sure you can find them on your own if you are so inclined.
On one site I perused, Lindsay Lohan was followed by Paris Hilton as the two most likely to reveal their genitalia to the paparazzi.
So, this is where we’re at now. And, what can we expect? More of the same? And, what can possibly change the culture?
