Melinda Doolittle American Idol
Okay, I really really need Melinda to do well in the American Idol competition. Okay, all the writers on this site are big fans of American Idol.
Now, we justify writing about American Idol, because, well, it’s a gateway to celebrity status. But, truth is… we’re just hooked; and, sometimes we feel a little goofy about that.
Okay, so we saw Melinda Doolittle on Idol tonight. We learned that she’s a professional background singer. We saw by her body language etc. that she was incredibly nervous. Melinda let us know that the background has been her comfort zone.
Simon called her brilliant twice. Randy said Melinda was one of the best American Idol auditions ever.
And, we see how the Idol producers work their magic. It’s not like a total fabrication. Melinda’s a real person and they’re telling her story. And, they know we’re going to be rooting for her.
And, I am. I am rooting for Melinda Doolittle. Her rendition of Stevie Wonder’s tune “For Once In My Life” was marvelous.
