Oh, You Silly Bastards
So, Joe Biden recently expressed some (awkward) thoughts about Senator Barack Obama.
Let’s look at what Mr. Biden said:
“I mean… you got the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice looking guy,” he said. “I mean… that’s a storybook man.”
Now, we’ve already started looking at the way the media is treating Mr. Obama, and, we’re not too happy with a lot of it.
And, this story provides an interesting twist because, oh, you, silly bastards, Mr. Biden wasn’t insulting Mr. Obama. He called him clean: as in clean as a whistle.
And, like I said… this is a real twist as the media is now perverting compliments into insults… oh, you silly bastards.
