I think she’s wonderful, and, I’m including this now apropos to a discussion I’ve been having with Skippy: you see, during this season of Idol, we do have Lakisha and we do have Melinda, but, we don’t have an Aimee Mann.

I tell you, when I watch Aimee, I really wish I had some sort of musical talent. I really wish I could sing and play a guitar. I think that I’m okay at writing lyrics, but, I just don’t have any of the musical ability.

I like the lyrics of the song a lot, which is why I included them above. This is obviously a sad, painful song. I can relate to the lyrics. I can relate to the feeling of having a need so strong… a desire so strong for somebody to come along and save … I, of course, believe that Jesus Christ provides the salvation which acts as the most wonderful of filters on the mind.

But, it remains, here on earth, people couple, and, it’s a necessary thing, and, when it just isn’t happening for you, it is difficult.
