Rosie O’Donnell Celebrity Detox
Well, friends, it’s no secret that we have been vigorous critics of Rosie O’Donnell; though, of course, the blogosphere did eventually squeeze an apology out of her.
On the plus side (and I’m not referring to clothing size), Rosie is an outspoken critic of the war, and, we respect her for boldly stating her views. We are a little biased, though, because we tend to be peace advocates: I’m well aware that we’re not very realistic people… (no need to leave comments to that effect.)
Okay, for the most part, we are not big Rosie fans. I mean, when you think of Rosie, Jackie O doesn’t come to mind… you get what I’m saying? Just think back to the Seinfeld episode with the old rich bastard, Pitt, and Elaine, and their discussion of the concept of grace. Oh, that was some funny shit. Too bad stupid ass Richards had to taint the whole memory!
Okay, anyway, it seems O’Donnell will have a book coming out this fall called Celebrity Detox. In the text, apparently, she compares fame to a drug. Whatever. Just what the world needs. A Rosie O’Donnell book. I can’t fucking wait.
