Some of the writers on this site (and, yes, we’re all friends) tend to be a little harsh and enjoy metaphorically beating the hell out of our generally vapid and self-absorbed celebrities. While I agree that these famous folks tend to be a deleterious influence (particularly on the healthy female body image), I think it’s important to remember that they are also God’s misguided offspring… and, in need of sympathy.

And, yes, this includes Britney Spears. I was clicking around the web, and, I see hundreds of sites arguing that Britney is a mentally insane piece of garbage. Besides not being very nice… it’s just not true. While my fellow writers here have argued that Britney needs to put her so-called skanky pussy away, I’ve advocated praying for her. God knows just how flawed I am. I shall try not to cast stones self-righteously.

Besides, just what is it about Britney’s pussy that rightfully characterizes it as “skanky.” I think that LaTosha was outraged that Britney was showing her vagina in public, and, while I most certainly agree that this is inappropriate and not what we want out of our female celeb role models, I think it’s only fair to say that Britney obviously has some type of mental illness.

And, I do not want to be a preacher… but, would we scathingly criticize a man with two broken arms for not being able to pick-up a sack of potatoes?

Likewise, I don’t think it’s right to be too harsh on a woman who may be mentally ill!

And, the reprehensible type of behavior we’ve seen from Britney (pussy flashing, irresponsible parenting, etc.) is consistent of what we see from mentally ill women… you know… being a lousy parent, promiscuity, and exhibitionism… these are trademark characteristics of folks who have mental trouble. And, even if you don’t believe in prayer per se… maybe the criticisms are unwarranted.

I mean… Britney recently, it’s reported, accused her mother, Lynne Spears, of sleeping with her photographer boy toy Adnan Ghalib. Although Lynne Spears does look like a whore, it would seem that Britney also suffers from paranoia in addition to her other problems.

If you do pray, please remember Brit. If that sounds corny to you, please remember, she does influence our children.
